We don’t just look for people who can do the job. We look for go-getters who challenge the status quo, create change for the better and deliver real results.
That’s because we empower our people to step outside their comfort zone, think big and question the way things are done. It’s what’s made us one of the fastest-growing businesses in the UK.
We put as much emphasis on hiring people with the right cultural fit, as we do the right skills and experience. So while we have traditional recruitment routes, we also love to receive applications in unusual ways.
If you want to stand out from the crowd and show us how unique you really are, we encourage you to apply in any way you like!
Every day is different and that every day is an opportunity to learn more - about the world and yourself - and an opportunity to improve both.
My typical day always starts with a coffee, but has a great mixture of talking to our clients or fulfilment centre members or my team. No day is the same which I love about my job.
I’ve been out to America to search for a new fulfilment centre. It’s made me feel that I am needed and not just another employee – it was clear that my opinion and expertise do matter. I’ve always been fully supported to grow within the company.
My advice to new starters is, don't be scared. There is lots to take in and it can't happen overnight. Be patient with yourself and try things to understand how they work.
Working at James and James is unique and far from stuffy or corporate. You won’t find dusty policies, red tape, hierarchy or egos here.
We’ve got a family-feel vibe going on, and our working environment is as vibrant as our infamous splash of lime (and pink, and aqua).
We'll help you progress with personal development plans, training and innovation funds. You'll also be invited to our challenge-create-deliver events throughout the year.
We take care of your wellbeing, with flexible hours, an additional day's holiday for each year served, and generous health and pension plans.
All the fun!
Seasonal parties, monthly team lunches, free tea, coffee, fruit and ice cream, and lots and lots of cake. It's never boring at James and James.
